Every year since our senior year of college, my roommates and I have celebrated our own Thanksgiving and Christmas (and Valentine’s Day!) together. A little background on the 1137 Thanksgiving: We each volunteer to bring something for dinner, and it’s always a traditional turkey dinner. Lauren, bless her heart, volunteered to bring the turkey the first year, and she showed up with rotisserie chickens instead. We had a good laugh about it (and continue to laugh about it), but each year since she’s continued the tradition of bringing rotisserie chickens instead of a turkey.

Well, this year she shocked the hell out of us. Lauren actually prepared a turkey herself, AND made the stuffing!! It was absolutely DELICIOUS! Lauren, kudos… It was tender and tasty, and the stuffing was equally amazing!

We also planned a mini surprise for Kim’s birthday, which was four days earlier. I baked a small red velvet cake and used some fun colors for the icing! Take a look at the pictures and video… it’s mostly of the turkey but the audio is pretty entertaining
