Bye Bye, BlackBerry
If you’re a BlackBerry owner you know what the big deal is. BlackBerry isn’t a particular good smartphone… it’s really not that great. But for some reason, us BB folks are extremely attached to our little devices. There’s no explaining it. Mine is particularly special because it’s gold. Everyone who sees it stops and comments, and it’s the only one I’ve ever seen… which made it that much harder when I decided to switch to the Droid X.
If you’re a BlackBerry owner, I bet you’re ready to form a mob and chase me down with torches and pitchforks… I know, I suck. But have you seen the Droid X?!! It’s really something. I’ve spent pretty much all day playing with it and testing out its features. I could probably hack into Korea’s nuclear bomb inventory with this thing… it’s awesome!
This doesn’t mean I’m completely ready to give up my BlackBerry just yet. I’m still going to carry it with me (yes, I’m that attached). I might just use it as an alarm clock, who knows. Anyhow, here’s to my beloved BlackBerry… you have served me well

Although, I wasn’t sporting a gold one…lol…I understand they are difficult to let go. I really want an iPhone because I am a Mac girl and I love having all my tech toys syncing seamlessly. Contrary to the rumors and hype, I doubt Verizon will pick up the iPhone with the recent release of the Droid X. And, yes, that Droid is sweeeeeet!
